Supporting Carers Rights Day 2019
Carers Rights Day took place on Thursday 21st November 2019. A national campaign, it brings organisations together to help carers in their local community know their rights and find out how to get the support they are entitled to. Many people, carers, wellbeing groups, businesses and organisations across East Sussex got involved and helped to raise awareness on the day. Click on the photo gallery below and scroll through.
Thanks to The Beacon, Eastbourne, Nandos, Cineworld, Taylors Restaurant, Parkinsons UK, Stephen Lloyd MP, Right at Home, Inner Wheel, Southdown Wellbeing Centre, Bexhill, and our volunteers including Soroptimist International Eastbourne, Chantelle and Chris. We also called upon local East Sussex MPs and candidates, and the Government, to recognise carers in the forthcoming General Election 2019. You can find out more about the campaign and what you are entitled to as a carer here.
