Head of Services

30 to 37 hours per week
Salary: £38,890 per annum, based on 37 hours per week
Contract term: Permanent
Office based and/or remote working

The Head of Services will be a member of the Senior Management Team and will lead and develop our direct services, with particular emphasis on project management, quality assurance and safeguarding. The successful applicant will provide effective leadership to the Carer Support Team, be a skilled strategic manager with excellent communication, IT and organisational skills and an aptitude for data analysis, monitoring and evaluation.

Team Leader – Communities

The Team Leader – Communities will work across a range of community settings to support carers and develop two new satellite carers centres. You’ll be working closely with stakeholders and voluntary sector partners to achieve positive outcomes for local carers and reach more carers from diverse communities. If you have experience of running community projects, providing line management support, addressing barriers to inclusion and enabling seldom heard communities to access services, this could be the role for you. You’ll be part of a committed, supportive team making a big impact on local carers’ lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a rewarding role helping to build our Young Carers service, which will soon enter its second year. As a Young Carer Support Worker you’ll plan and deliver fun, respite activities to young carers, and help them to manage their own health, wellbeing and education, and to access the support they are entitled to. You’ll work closely with partners and colleagues as part of a friendly and established team.
