Muddy fundraising adventures for our young adult carers
17 July 2018
Please give our group of incredible, inspirational young adult carers a huge cheer for completing the Gauntlet Games challenge last weekend!
Well done to Charlotte, Liam, Chris, Alannah, Chantelle, Jordan F, Jordan D, Jordan B, George, Matthew, Reece, Fraser, and Care for the Carers staff Rachel, Hannah and Amy, who also joined in the fun, all in aid of raising funds for unpaid carers!
As young adult carers we all know how it feels to be responsible for somebody else’s care….The Young Adult Carers (YAC) group run by Care for the Carers really helps us as it gives us the chance to spend time together, hang out and have fun, and be supported in our caring role. They decided as a group to take on the challenge to help ensure that theYAC group can keep running.
See a video below of their exploits on the day – congratulations to them all!
