What Care for the Carers can offer parent carers:
The East Sussex Carers Card
The free East Sussex Carers Card does three things:
- Identifies you as a carer, and that someone depends on you in an emergency
- A discount card, giving carers savings at businesses across East Sussex.

Carers activities and events
We run a programme of enjoyable activities to give you a break from your caring role and the opportunity to socialise with other carers. We also offer a range of Carers Groups across East Sussex and online. Please contact us to ask more about which of these are appropriate for parent carers.
Previous activities include wellbeing and pamper days, theatre trips, afternoon teas, a day at the tennis, and cookery courses. For details of upcoming carers activities take a look at our What’s On calendar
