October marks Black History Month in the UK.

This year the Black History Month theme is ‘Saluting our Sisters’ and is dedicated to honouring the achievements of black women who are often the forgotten heroines.  We know that includes thousands of carers across the UK.

Here you can find out more about Black History Month, what’s going on in the area to celebrate the month, the Making Carers Count project and hear from some of the carers that we support.
