Latest Campaigns Carers Week Carers Week is an annual awareness campaign which takes place in June. It celebrates and recognises the vital contribution made by the UK’s 6.6 million unpaid carers – people who look after a relative, friend or neighbour who couldn’t manage without them. Carers Week 2019 will take place 10-16 June. The theme for this year's Carers Week is: Getting Carers Connected. Each year, Care for the Carers, together with its partners, hosts a range of events around the county to celebrate Carers Week and recognise the vital contribution that carers in East Sussex make to their families and communities. Check back on this page in the run up to Carers Week, to find up-to-date details of events and services within East Sussex to celebrate the tireless hard work of carers in the county.
