We’re delighted that Care for the Carers have secured funding to offer further support to carers around financial inclusion until March 2026, as part of the Carers Trust ‘Carer Money Matters’ project, working in partnership with Sussex Community Development Association (SCDA).
Carer Money Matters is being funded by all four of the UK’s Gas Distribution Networks and national charity Carers Trust. We are one of 23 local carer organisations to offer this new service.
Carers Community Navigator, Kim Christofi will offer guidance on money matters for carers and their families, including support with managing and reducing debt, accessing grants and benefits and practical tips on keeping energy bills down.
