Join For Caring Out Loud! The Carers Voices Conference Week 2022

We are pleased to announce that our Carers Voices Conference will take place during the week of Monday 14th to 18th March 2022. It promises to be an inspiring series of live and online events that gives carers living in East Sussex a platform to voice ideas and share common experiences. We are excited to announce that the conference will open with an in person event.

Conference Week Programme

The week starts with the in person event at the Uckfield Civic Centre, followed by a number of online workshops throughout the week, including sessions on respite, dementia, and health and social care. Take a look and book you place using the buttons.

Offering Advice Lounge, local and national speakers, including Emily Holzhausen OBE, the Director of Policy and Public Affairs at Carers UK, one of the country’s foremost experts on carers’ issues, question and answer session, time to meet other carers and share lunch.

Managing the maze – making Health & Social Care Systems work for carers

Influence Care for the Carers’ work to make East Sussex more carer-friendly, by sharing your experiences of navigating local Health & Social Care systems and how they impact on your wellbeing. Join us to give your views on what works well and what changes are needed, particularly as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
