Older People’s Day is today, Wednesday 1st October, and across East Sussex this is celebrated through a month-long programme of activities taking place throughout October. Carers’ conversations: A supportive chatty table with Emma Jones
Wednesday 1st October, 10am to 1pm
Where: Hillbrow Health and Wellbeing Centre, 1 Denton Road, Eastbourne, BN20 7SS

About: Designed for unpaid carers to come together, share experiences, and support each other. Facilitated by Care for the Carers staff or volunteers, we will also direct you to local resources, services, and events that can help carers.

Hastings Winter Warmer
Saturday 4th October, 10am to 12.30pm
Where: Isabel Blackman Centre, Winding Street, Hastings, TN34 3AT
Getting there: 321 or 100/101 bus from Hastings Station (stop The Stade). Paid parking at Rock a Nore or Hastings Old Town. Blue badge parking outside.
About: Free refreshments and electric blanket give-away for carers, find out what’s on at the centre to support carers health and wellbeing.

Find out about our age-friendly community, how to make healthy choices when eating and stay hydrated, ways to keep active, avoid falls and connect with other people.

Saturday Social: Sussex Support Service
