Services Manager – Adult Carers

37 hours per week
Salary: £31,346 per annum
Contract term: Permanent

The Services Manager – Adult Carers will coordinate, develop and deliver quality support services for carers through a variety of approaches including group activities, one-to-one targeted support and respite opportunities, and ensure appropriate strategies are in place to proactively identify carers.

The successful applicant will be a skilled strategic manager with excellent communication, IT and organisational skills. Experience of establishing new services based on client need and of strategic development is essential, as is experience of delivering group and one-to-one support to carers or other vulnerable clients.

Services Manager – Communities

37 hours per week

The Services Manager – Communities will plan, set up, deliver and evaluate two new Satellite Carers Centres in Hastings and Uckfield and co-ordinate the organisation’s community development approach. The successful applicant will ensure appropriate strategies are in place to proactively identify carers, and coordinate, develop and deliver quality support services for carers.

You will be a skilled strategic manager with excellent communication, IT and organisational skills. A track record of community development, establishing new services, and strategic development is essential, as is experience of delivering group and one-to-one support to carers or other vulnerable clients.

Senior Team Leader – Mental Health Carers Project

37 hours per week
Salary: £30,451 per annum
Contract term: 12 months fixed, with possibility of extension

This role will manage our new Mental Health Carers Project, planning, delivering and evaluating project activity. You will ensure delivery of quality services to carers, working closely with NHS, Social Care and voluntary sector partners to identify carers, obtain referrals and inform good practice in relation to carers.

The successful applicant will be a skilled operational manager with excellent communication, IT and organisational skills. Experience of project management and of addressing barriers to inclusion and enabling seldom heard communities to access services is essential. You will also bring experience of delivering group and one-to-one support to carers of people with mental health issues, or other vulnerable clients with complex needs.

Carer Support Workers (3 posts available)

37 hours per week
Salary: £22,183 per annum
Contract term: 12 months fixed, with possibility of extension

Our Carer Support Workers provide one-to-one support by phone and face-to-face, facilitate support groups, and undertake joint work with our partners in the NHS, Adult Social Care and the voluntary sector.

The successful applicants will be skilled communicators with excellent IT and organisational skills. The ability to carry out an assessment of carers’ needs, gain and maintain carers’ confidence, and to develop robust partnerships with colleagues in health, social care and voluntary sectors is essential, as is an understanding of carers’ needs and rights.
