Get help Training, activities and events We provide training courses and activities for carers in East Sussex, and host a range of events throughout the year. Carers Toolkit The Carers Toolkit is a training programme designed by carers, for carers and equips carers with skills and information on a wide range of caring issues to improve the health and wellbeing of carers and ensure that they have a better knowledge of the support services available to them. Courses taking place in 2017, include “Shine” (managing stress), Creative Writing, Art Therapy, Wellness Recovery Action Planning, and Carers Rights and Emergency Planning. More courses are always being planned, so do get in touch if you would like to be kept informed about upcoming training. Carers Activities Care for the Carers runs a programme of activities and events for carers, which aim to give carers a break, some fun, and an opportunity to socialise with other carers. Recent activities have included go-karting, wellbeing and pamper days, a comedy night, paintballing, a ride on the Bluebell railway, and a cookery course.
