Latest Campaigns Carers Week Carers Week is an annual awareness campaign which takes place in June. It celebrates and recognises the vital contribution made by the UK’s 6.6 million unpaid carers – people who look after a relative, friend or neighbour who couldn’t manage without them. Carers Week 2020 dates have been announced: 8-14 June 2020! Carers Week 2019's theme was Getting Carers Connected. See our information about how carers can get better connected online. Each year, Care for the Carers, together with its partners, hosts a range of events around the county to celebrate Carers Week and recognise the vital contribution that carers in East Sussex make to their families and communities.
