Parent Carer wellbeing courses available in January and February 2020
Care for the Carers are providing a 6-week wellbeing course for Parent Carers in East Sussex, who are looking after a child or children under 18. The course, called Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP), starts in January and February 2020. It is designed for Parent Carers to:
- Decrease and prevent unwanted or troubling feelings and behaviours
- Increase the personal choices you make about how you live your life
- Improve quality of life
- Help you achieve your life goals and life dreams
At the end of the course, you will be able to look at options and plan steps to take and changes to make when faced withdifficult emotions, situations and people. People who use the WRAP method say that it helps them find new ways of responding to situations that may have previously thrown them off balance.
