"Care for the Carers aims to improve the quality of carers lives by helping the local community recognise and value the role of carers, and by enabling carers to access the services & support they require."

Volunteers' Week

11th May 2011

Care for the Carers has a great team of volunteers who support us with: our befriending service, our young carers clubs and transporting young carers, keeping in contact with carers and much much more.

Volunteers’ Week is an annual event which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. The week plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to society, while inspiring others to get involved too.

As it is Volunteers Week we would like to say a big THANK YOU to all our volunteers for their support and ongoing hard work.

If you would like to know more about becoming a volunteer (or know someone who may be interested) contact Carole Gregory (Acting Volunteer Co-ordinator)
