"Care for the Carers aims to improve the quality of carers lives by helping the local community recognise and value the role of carers, and by enabling carers to access the services & support they require."

Opportunity to Feedback to Adult Social Care

19th Feb 2010

Adult Social Care at East Sussex County Council is currently running a consultation about providing the services that meet the needs of everyone who uses them.

They have produced a "What to Expect" leaflet aimed at service and non-service users of Adult Social Care at East Sussex County Council. It is an information sheet to let service users know ‘what to expect’ when they receive advice and care support through Adult Social Care. They will monitor how well they deliver these standards, and will publish their performance annually.

The leaflet contains core quality standards about how the services are delivered. These standards are both important to Adult Social Care and to the Care Quality Commission who monitor their services.

Adult Social Care want to gather your views about the "What to Expect" leaflet so they can get a better picture of how they can make the leaflet more meaningful and accessible to the public.
