PRTC: Political Parties Must Make Pledges for Carers

Carole Cochrane, chief executive of The Princes Royal Trust for Carers was recently interviewed by The Times and called for all political parties to include support for carers in their manifestos. Of all the decisions the political parties have to take before the election in May, one of the most vexed is their manifesto commitments to Britain’s unpaid army of six million carers.
