Volunteer Opportunities at Care for the Carers

A number of services within Care for the Carers are greatly enhanced by the inclusion and support of volunteers.

Why become a Volunteer?

By becoming a volunteer you will be giving something back to your local community, meeting new people and making new friends, gaining new skills and hopefully having fun.

Currently there are two ways in which you can become a volunteer at Care for the Carers:

Befriending Scheme

The Befriending Scheme provides support to carers living in rural communities throughout East Sussex. If you would like more information then please contact us

Young Carers' Service

The Young Carers Service is currently looking for volunteers to assist the team in the running of the monthly clubs in Eastbourne and Ringmer.

Eastbourne: Early evenings 5-7pm

Ringmer: Late afternoons 3.45-5.45pm

Support and induction training will be provided. Volunteer expenses will also be available. The clubs are great opportunity to gain some experience of helping to support young people in the local community.
